"My favorite restaurant in the whole country. Seriously. When I tell people about La Fortuna, I tell them 1) you will never see the volcano, because it's eternally hidden in clouds. But then I lighten the mood and tell them about hot springs, and about Chef Martin. It's the only place I eat when I'm there. No other place comes close for me!"

"Very nice restaurant. Super recommended. Staff very helpful and concerned about details. For example, it was my girlfriend's birthday, I recommended hours before dinner when I made the reservation. The restaurant offered a dessert with a small candle to sing happy birthday. They were also very informative about food allergies. The food was also delicious to regret nothing. If I could point out something that should be done better, I found wine overpriced. So we chose drinks that were great"

"Sea bass was really good as were the steaks and the beef gyro. The peppercorn sauce with one of the steaks was blander then what we expected but still good. The chimichurri sauce was excellent. Highly recommend it. Thiere was live music and though it was good, it hampered the conversation at the table. It was a bit too loud for dinner music. The food did not disappoint and even exceeded our expectations. We will come back."

"Our experience was fine. I ordered the veggie raviolis and had a very small part of literally 4 ravioli for my entire meal. my husband didn't care about his steak and we were literally the only table in the restaurant. our waitress was friendly, but her English was poor and we had a hard time to communicate. we enjoyed people watching in the nearby park, but the experience was overwhelming. I wouldn't come back."

"The food was incredible. Our favorite restaurant in La Fortuna. Octopus and Tuna Ceviche were the best I ever had. Jonathan took care of us and was very friendly. Drinks were great. All for a great experience."
