"A good restaurant but it has been twice that we find closed doors for annual leave while we had phoned before moving (message from the answering machine with opening hours without any other information). Of course, you have to take leave but you change the answering machine's message in order to prevent the clientele. Disappointed."

"First meeting with this new family of taste on gacilly. Warm welcome, presentation of menus, we have been patient with a pleasant and delicious mouthful. For my part, it was duck magret with pineapple and honey and seasonal vegetables, madam, gambas and tagliatlles. The dessert, I strongly recommend that you be tempted by the lost orange bread, just a slaughter! Thank you to the chief for this moment, thank you to you ladies for your service without fault and with class. And most importantly, it's very soon!"

"A French restaurant just as it should be. Good food, good atmosphere and service. We were here on a Sunday lunchtime and every table was taken, that tells you that it is good. The menu is not large but the quality and presentation are good. We had a relaxed 3 course lunch followed by coffee over about 1 1/2 hours but could have stayed longer. We'll certaily be going back."

"We went for dinner and even though we arrived early there were many table that were already reserved. The menu is quite vast and they have a lot of choices. I found the crepes good but nothing special. I have had much better in my 20 years in France. I also thought they were on the expensive side. I didn't care for the decoration, no charm for a crêperie in a wonderful little town like La Gacilly. They could have made more effort. That said, this is still obviously a very popular place in town. So much so that the service was unbearable by the end. They literally forgot about us and I had to chase down my second dessert crepe more than 30 minutes after the first one and then had to go up to the cash register in order to get our bill as we were forgotten again."
