"Siamo arrivati e ci hanno dato una camera, come da nostra prenotazione 'ocean view', peccato che la camera è infognata tra 2 altre strutture che ci sovrastavano ai lati e sul davanti, invece che una bella 'ocean view', c'è una siepe che toglie parzialmente la vista (inserita lì appositamente perché la camera è totalmente priva di privacy, e chiunque passa davanti vede tutto sia sul terrazzino che nella stanza.) Abbiamo cercato di farcela andare bene, chiedendo però gentilmente alla receptionist di turno di potercela cambiare, anche pagando.....la risposta è stata ' ci proverò...ma siamo al completo e da planning non sembra possibile...A questo punto siamo andati a mangiare una pizza al ristorante, un cameriere a dir poco svogliato ha preso la prenotazione e la pizza (surgelata) ci è arrivata 45' dopo...Tornati in camera ci accorgiamo della difficoltà ad entrarci, la chiave era storta e vecchia, mentre là serratura arrugginita e durissima... minuti per aprire la porta.Finalmente ci mettiamo a disfare i bagagli e ci accorgiamo che le due palazzine ai lati, non solo sovrastano la camera, ma i clienti per eccedervi passano ai lati della camera a pochissimi centimetri dalle nostre finestre laterali.....così per avere privacy in pratica ci saremmo dovuti chiedere in camera, con le tende oscuranti tirate...sempre e comunque...Nel mentre ci accorgiamo che il lavandino si sta letteralmente staccando dal pianale del lavandino.....pure questa.... A questo punto davvero stanchi di questa approssimazione... e di cozzaglie mal funzionanti, andiamo a mangiare: 1 pizza (surgelata) 4 bicchieri di vino normalissimo1 piatto di spaghetti allo scoglio ....immangiabili1 bottiglia di acquaTotale dollari 50 americani...mai visto un conto così in Messico, abbiamo girato per 10 giorni mangiando sempre in bei ristoranti o belle haciende e questo conto, accompagnato da un ristorante a mala pena degno di questo nome e con un servizio da hotel di pessima categoria, è stato senza dubbio il conto più caro è sproporzionato che ci è arrivato.A questo punto torniamo alla reception e con fermezza ma in modo cortese chiediamo soluzione... almeno per la camera. La risposta della receptionist è stata poco educata e ci ha fatto notare che aveva altri clienti, e con fare infastidito ci ripete che non può fare nulla, che l'albergo è pieno, e che all' indomani con il rientro del manager se ne sarebbe riparlato. A questo punto stanchi e demoralizzati per le varie problematiche e la ben poca cortesia ed attenzione, andiamo a dormire, riuscendo a malapena a trovare la linea wifi per cercare un'albergo dove spostarci l'indomani....anche questa impresa molto difficile dato che la linea non solo funzionava a singhiozzo nelle cosi dette 'aree comuni' ma alle 22.50 il ristorante/bar aveva già chiuso rendendoci impossibile l'acceso a internet... (ci era stato detto che il ristorante sarebbe stato aperto fino alle 23...)L'indomani mattina alle 8.45 con bagagli già pronti ci rechiamo alla reception per l'incontro con Manager di reception, anche in questo caso attendiamo per 20 minuti dato che era ovviamente in ritardo. Gli spieghiamo i vari disagi, e lui prima facendo finta di non capire bene, poi davanti all'evidenza ci dice che magicamente si è liberata una camera adatta.......Gli diciamo che non abbiamo intenzione di stare e che avremmo pagato la notte precedente ma chiedendo la restituzione del resto del soggiorno.Ovviamente la risposta è stata negativa, e porgendo scuse poco sentite ci prepara il check out. Nel frattempo arriva il General Manager, che messo a conoscenza (da una receptionist) del nostro disappunto, si reca in ufficio, prende delle pratiche e come se nulla fosse ci passa affianco senza neppure degnarci di uno sguardo...tanto meno scuse..tanto la cifra per l'intero soggiorno se la sarebbbe comunque intascata.Per concludere sulla struttura in questione troviamo che pagare US Dollari 215,00 più tasse locali per una struttura, raffazzonata, decadente, senza servizi, con w.fi che a malapena funziona, personale svogliato (alcuni) e ristorante caro ma pessimo, sia un'oltraggio ad altre strutture che sono invece piccole graziose chicche come quelle che abbiamo trovato nel resto del nostro viaggio in Messico.Una topaia indegna..."

"We had the best time at La Zebra at their Beach Club! Wonderful food and drinks! Jaime really made our time here beautiful with lovely service and so attentive to our needs! The beach is also beautiful and clean! Super nice sun beds and really affordable prices! We will come back the next time we visit Tulum! Thank you Jaime and the other crew members for making our honeymoon and birthday phenomenal!"
