What Sandra Brown doesn't like about Grossmont Center:
It was like a ghost town there. So sad what the pandemic has done to the mall. Hopefully things picked up later on in the afternoon. The food court only had 5 restaurants opened. Did not eat there.?? Did eat at Panera. The mall is anchored by Target on one end and Walmart on the other. There's a Macy's, a Barnes and Nobel bookstore and a movie theater plus other vendors. View all feedback.

Red lobster Restaurant. Food delicious but very slow service. Waitress was great. They are short emoyees.

"I would give them 4 stars if I could. I just confirmed ALL of their breads are vegan! Also, they have vegan cheese, but it's not recommended on the flatbread, because of its funky melt (or lack thereof). Today I had the grilled veggie sandwich. I subbed chimichurri for the pesto aioli and added avocado. It was AWESOME! Yesterday I had the Mediterranean salad without cheese. Soooo freakin good! Even the meat-eating husband loved it. The lemon vinegarette was delicious. This is definitely my new favorite place in East County."

"The ladies at Rose Donuts will impress you with their delicious donuts and stellar customer service. I love this place. I had a temporary work gig in mission valley and during that time I would often stop by Rose's in the morning for some coffee and a raspberry donut. One of the ladies got to know me and once she saw me in line, she would start to grab what I wanted while I waited in line- raspberry donut, coffee and just the right amount of creamer. Every so often I would change it up and get something different. What was really nice was that they had such a wide variety of options beyond donuts. Their bagel choices were so delicious as well as their muffins. The donuts were great but what I really loved was the genuine sense of pride and friendliness. They always said Hi and had a friendly smile. I no longer work in the area but the next time Im down there I'll probably stop in. This is a true mom/pop type business. Those ladies are in there EARLY making fresh donuts and living the life. If you're going to support a local business this is a great shop that deserves your patronage."

"Tom yum was delicious, the Thai fried rice had a nice moist texture, but it was very bland. The chicken large was a bit sweet, and Pad see ew was also very sweet. The noodles may have been stir fry too long as it was broken in pieces."
