La Cantine - La Plagne Tarentaise

We visited La Cantine to celebrate a birthday while in the Alps, together with some friends, based on a local recommendation. Everything about our visit was simply outstanding. Service was fast and friendly. Menu options were broad with a choice for everyone in our group. The food was delicious, some of the best food we have ever eaten, across every plate on the table. Flavours were off the charts. Portion sizes were great. And prices all reasonable as well, considering most places on the mountain add a premium. And some nice extra touches from the staff to help us celebrate the birthday. All in all, making our visit to La Cantine a highlight of our trip to the Alps, and we can not only highly recommend, but we hope to be able to return again in the future to experience it all again.

Buzzing bar and restaurant. Great cocktails, good food and all at a 'reasonable ' price for the French Alps. Staff very friendly snd helpful. All said, a lively place for the last night in resort.

Nice atmosphere was good when Pierre managed it menu pretty limited and not really that tasty pizzas came out pretty burnt around the edges better places to eat

A restaurant where you have to stop. the boss and his servers are real epicureans and represent the dishes that are offered to us. a welcome worthy of this name. the tapas dish with reblochon and tome is a gustative tubing. at the time of the little genepi supplement offered if you are smiling. Nothing to say again mci a you. Excellent pizza we had taken a few days before. atmosphere resto pub guaranteed
