The Brasserie de la Poste is a centrally located restaurant adjacent to the town hall of La Rochelle. It serves classic French brasserie food and it does it well, in an un-fussy way that allows you to get on with enjoying your company and the beautiful surrounding architecture of La Rochelle. What DifromBrisbane doesn't like about Brasserie de la Poste:
The Brassiere is located opposite the Town Hall which is currently undergoing extensive renovation. There is seating both inside and out with gas heaters for those sitting outside. The Tartare Poele was well executed as was the New York Hamburger while I had the linguine aux Gambas which came with 3 over cooked prawns and little taste in the linguine.
