Di Venezia - La Rochelle

What Richard F likes about Di Venezia:
We arrived on a windy evening and were greeted by extremely pleasant staff who spotted we were English immediately and greeted us in good English. I ordered the Menu de Jour €18 for 3 courses) and my partner had the Mussels. Food was really good, arrived swiftly and with a smiling face as it was served. What chuns doesn't like about Di Venezia:
It seems the Brits in La Rochelle like this place, the French find it less appealing. Not sure whether there is anything to be read into that, but our experience was pleasant enough. What we wanted was a pizza style meal, and chose this one, out of dozens that access the harbour frontage of the town, because they had a table free. No science there.
