What User doesn't like about La Casita Del Chef:
Great tasty food. They have a big problem during the high season or at peak hours where food quality drops a lot. Went on a Thursday at 7pm then a Sunday at 2pm, and the experiences were totally different, with dish quality dropping a lot on the Sunday. Hope they fix this. read more.

At the restaurant, the fresh and fine juices on the drinks menu wonderfully complement the dishes.

"With my wife in the restaurant. We're both in the fifties. The restaurant opens for lunch only and is close to a number of hostels (we recommend Hostal El Punto, by the way). An Escalera (street leads to the main door of the restaurant that sits in an old house. It looks small from outside, but this is deceptive, there is plenty of space inside. A large fireplace keeps the main dining room warm in winter. The food is exceptionally good. I tried the Mar y Tierra fetuccini and my wife had the carrots tortilla with potatoes and soup. She liked it very much, especially as the potatoes were made. She even learned a good trick from the owner Juan (pronounced Who-an, NOT Goo-an!) how to cook them right. We will return. Prices are fair, ambience too. The food is delicious! Very recommended."
