What Michel Kovacek likes about Banana Leaf:
this is our favorite restaurant in asia. the sweet are consistently fresh, and the aromas are always excellent. the inner is intimate (read: relatiw small), but the service is good. Take-out is a fantastic option, and we call several times in the month for take-out. priceless against fast eating around it, it is the best worth around. View all feedback.
What Michel Kovacek doesn't like about Banana Leaf:
This was quite disappointing and was lacking in any authentic flavor. I think their chef may be Chinese as the Szechuan eggplant we got was okay, while the green curry was a watery soup more than thick Thai curry. It was a 3-star spot off the highway to Pittsburgh with those two dishes but the pineapple fried rice deserves a negative star. Great place but when I dined in seemed like less food on the plate than carry out. Usually when I dine in it's a bigger plate wasn't happy about it.
