"Great food, great coffee, great atmosphere, nice people. I highly recommend skipping over Starbucks down the road and heading 1 min up the road to Bella Vista. And try the (Venezuelan) empanadas! My daughter and I had the Egg sandwich pictured) and it was delish!"

"I love Barr's Music City Soul Food. I often get it directly after work. I have no idea what happened with my order. The Smothered Pork Chops were terrible. They were overcooked, dry, cold as hell... and the gravy was congealed and never melted. It was never anything but a gel regardless of heat or water added or whatever. I shouldn't have eaten it. The macaroni and cheese was decent. The dressing was dried crumbs, and they did not put any gravy on it. I'm not gonna lie. I was grateful for the lack of gravy. The Peach Cobbler was the only thing that was hot, and it was fairly peach less. They included another dessert at no extra charge, and that red velvet cake was delicious. The roll was fine and they included a cornbread muffin which was decent too. I'll give them another chance IN PERSON so I can see what's good and what looks old. I feel like my plate was frozen and they had to defrost it. Soggy and pretty bad overall. They have a good track record with me, so this time... they're forgiven."
