What Céline D likes about Thomi 99 Vietnamese:
Pretty standard Viet place, in a plaza with a lot of other Vietnamese joints so I expected it to be tasty. The menu was very large, they also had many tables and place was busy on a Saturday night. I came here with 7 friends and half of us were Viet. Waitstaff were nice and accommodating. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (my usual). Broth was not super hot and I wish there was more meat. I was surprised that this restaurant does not confirm vaccination status. I had my ID and QR code ready to show them. As I walked in, the staff directed me to sit at a table. I walked over and put my phone down on the table. The staff glanced at my phone and said 'ok '. So, 'ok ' what? The staff did not ask for my ID, did not check or ask for my status. So, this is beside Vaughan Mills so pretty handy if you are shopping in the area. Note that despite signs to the contrary they were not checking covid passports...
