"We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Wild Poppy Bistro in Ladysmith, BC. I had the ponzu duck confit salad, which was amazing, for $14! It was the first ramen I've enjoyed since becoming gluten free years ago. The prices are excellent, well below what you would pay for similar dishes in the city. I also picked up some baked goods to take home an enjoy, including a long lost treat, a cheese scone :-) This spot would be well worth a diversion off the highway if travelling on the west coast of Vancouver Island."

"Amazing lunch at Sushi Wara, as always! This was our favourite place to grab a bento box for lunch once a week when we lived here and once again today it was awesome. Service is always prompt and friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious. Great to be back for a visit and enjoy what’s always been so good for us before."

"Chefs special is always my go to when ever I visit this place. Last time I ordered duck curry and it was fabolous! Also if you are a peanut sauce lover should try fried tofu. The peanut sauce is unbeliavable!"

"Great location in Ladysmith, nice decor, excellent customer service and usually pretty good food. The last time we went our dishes weren't as great as they usually were. Chicken seemed a little chewy? Not terrible but not the usual expected taste/texture. Overall, we usually have a great experience."
