"We have shopped here for years and have always loved the variety and quality of the fresh sausage. Just recently realized they served breakfast and was not disappointed. This is now our favorite breakfast spot. Also just tried a BBQ chicken plate lunch for the first time and it was amazing!"

"We went to La Carreta a few times and we usually enjoy it. The service can sometimes be concentrated with the staff to talk to each other instead of checking on their tables. Ordering my favorite thing is the Mahi-shrimp Ceviche, which is very good. They have bite large pieces of fish and shrimp with pieces cucumbers and mango marinated in lemon juice, so the acid cooks the seafood. It makes a light and refreshing meal. The rest of the food I have found to be a little hit or miss when the meat is dry and bland at times. In my opinion, it is your best Tex mex option in downtown."

"Was really looking forward to this place after hearing friends? recommendations and seeing reviews. Had the seafood roll app and then the crab cakes as an entree. Just underwhelmed. For the price, the crab cakes were just meh. Not worth $27. The waitresswas very nice but I was shocked that 6 guests merited an automatic 20% tip. Not sure I would have left that. Not sure if I?d goback after $150 for four people when there are so many other choices in Lafayette."

"When I was so hungry and after an breakfast, I ordered a strawberry romanoff cinammon bun french toast. 10 minutes by and they get my wife her food and was asked that mine just come out. it was the moment when I saw the family behind us getting all their food that asked me where my is? 20 minutes go by and still very patient as my wife tells me that they probably still make the order, still I wait. it was when half an hour passed, where I couldn't take it anymore and come to find out that she's forgot to bring it out. the personal was nice, but the service was really terrible, that is my first time in la madeline and it was a terrible experience. I'm not even a good one, but 30 minutes for a small plate is ridiculous. do they not recommend it to anyone?"
