budget friendly food but surroundings very hot nd stuffy. There are only 2 tables in the outside area so the majority of tables are inside which means with an open kitchen it was sweltering. I kept going outside during my meal to get some fresh cooler air. The service was slow but that may have been because they were busy and has new staff. View all feedback.
We accidentally found this place when we took a short cut to the main Street. This restaurant is located on the middle level of steps. Food: Massive portions, yet very reasonable price. Very good food. If you don’t eat big, one dish would be enough to share. Service: Food service. The man who served us speaks good English. Overall , very good restaurant and highly recommended.
Typical Portuguese cuisine with a twist. First time we had arroz de tamboril (monk fish rice with prawns), second time around we had bacalhau (codfish) in an olive oil bath (Bacalhau a fonte) and porco preto (Iberian pork) in a delicious sauce. We highly recommend this restaurant with great food and very friendly staff.
We fell in love with this place. They make the best piri piri chicken. The flavor was amazing. The soups were good too. It all prepared fresh.
We came here on recommendation of our tour guide for lunch. Food was very nice, authentic Portuguese. Services was friendly and relatively timely for the small restaurant.
Delicious seafood was the theme of our lunch for five. Sea Bass, Sardines and seafood cataplana were on our menu. All done extremely well.
