"We have friends living in Wartook near Laharum and it was on their recommendation that our group of friends booked a table for 6 to enjoy the 5 course set menu which changes week to week depending on the meats and fresh produce which is sourced from the surrounding district. It is a set price and you will not be disappointed with the range of foods that Deirdre serves to her patrons and she takes a very hands approach to the extent of coming around to the tables between courses. It is necessary to book and is very popular venue for weddings."

"Out of your mind you'll say giving this place four stars, well, it's no BP 'on the run' and that's what makes it good. All road stops were like this before franchises took over.The cafe part is a bit run down, can't comment on the food but the coffee was actually better than expected and expectations were well, you know, not extremely high.Friendly service from the characters running the place.Then we went over to the giant koala. Inside the koala is a souvenier shop, if you are brave venture up the stairs into the bowels of the koala. I say bowels because the smell up there made me wonder what it had eaten for dinner, whatever it was was long past its use-by date wow haha.Yes, you should stop, Australiana can't survive without your business."

"We pulled into dadswell after dark .we were greeted by the lovely owner who gave us a great meal and we booked a nice room to stay in and we had our pet bird who stayed in the car .thankyou.for a lovely nights rest at your motel thoroughly recommend to everyone traveling through there. We made it to qld by the way!! I think we have one of your teaspoons we picked up.in error will send it back to you. Thanks again jenni and vic manna"
