we gave la cafe another attempt after about a year steering clear. at a time it was somewhat unpleasant to hear the employees/owners who bash the original owners to the other customers. perhaps the more unprofessional is the more appropriate word. we visited this place regularly with family and friends in the 80s and early 90s, when first opened as la cafe, and so I think that these owners the original owners.
