Came to dinner on Wednesday at 18:40 and sat immediately. We ordered within the next 10 minutes. Then it took 30 minutes to get our first role. It took another 30 minutes to get our remaining 3 reels. Our waitress disappeared about 30 minutes and we had to ask them if our food was ready to whom she said they were behind the schedule. Shortly after, our waitress changed, not sure why. As far as food is concerned, we ordered the Alaska roll, Spider roll, Spicy rainbow roll and the Kimonos roll. The Sushi rice was not good, it was too hard. The reels were okay, the parts were smaller than normal.
I cost my food and service. Everything was great. Shares were appropriate with price fixing. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was excellent.
With a group of friends. The service was fast and the food was good. We order a few articles including the miso soup, seaweed salad, edamame vegetarian role and Jalapeño role. Everything was delicious.
Usually, it's one of our slam-dunks to stay in the area. In the karaoke night. Service, attention, food quality are absolutely top notch ever. Sushi is very good and well done. Karaoke was almost funny. The girl (Bri) sang 2 songs, 1 drunken guy sang 1/2 of another before he gave up, and the sound was impossible to hear (and no, it was not crowded). So 3 songs and she took a break....She (Bri) went around to sing a song before everything started, futzed with the iPad likely control speakers and whatever, and never changed. Not really. So, come for food and service do not come for karaoke.
Loved my visit to Kimonos. We had a change of plans and were staying in the hotel and decided to eat here. I'm glad we did. Sushi was terrific and the best egg drop soup I've ever had. They didn't have the volcano roll on the menu but they made it for me. Hot tea service was nice. It was my sisters birthday and they surprised us with a small mochi dessert. I will be back!!
