We ordered breakfast, my husband got the Country fried steak (they never brought his white country gravy) gave him brown gravy. Some of my scrambled eggs weren't done. Waitress didn't come back for a long while. First time ever we received bad service here. They were pretty busy. View all feedback.
What Jim Nelson doesn't like about Cracker Barrel Old Country Store:
This was the first time that I have had a poor experience at a Cracker Barrel, and I go often. We were traveling on vacation and this location was close to our hotel. They were out of so many items that they might as well have closed. Out of meat loaf, fried chicken, catfish, all potatoes, carrots, turnip greens, pot pies. Waitress had no empathy for our disappointment. We ordered what we could and when she brought o... View all feedback.
Always a great meal there. Very friendly waitress. I'll be back in Lake City tomorrow and probably dine there.
Had the Turkey Dressing Special for the day. Service was great and even though it was crowded, we got our food in a timely manner.
The chopped beef lunch special is noticeably tough, but smothering it in two of my favorite sauteed toppings (fresh mushrooms onions) elevates it to a tasty standard. I order double sides of pinto beans with biscuits half n' half tea to complete a wonderful comfort meal. $12.50 (tax tip incl).
Our server Megan K and the cashier staff of amazing Jade and fast and efficient John made our visit extra special with great service, and a side order of smiles. We came Friday night at the dinner hour 6:30 pm approx and were seated almost immediately. Our server Megan was fast , checked in often and provided wonderful service. After looking at all the great merchandise with my wife we made a small purchase and checked out with a very friendly fast and upbeat Jade and John! Stop in the food is great and the sweet tea is cold
Big rig friendly parking area. Designated long parking sites for vehicles in tow. Easy to navigate. Close to diesel fuel, shopping, and other amenities. Our four-star waitress was great. Food came out in a reasonable time. Meatloaf was overcooked dry w/burnt edges. Seasonal squash casserole stole the show. Bathrooms were decent… as usual. Among the plethora of items to choose from in their shop, they have souvenirs including FL shirts magnets. Some guy at the register tried to sell my husband candy. It was weird. Cashiers did not acknowledge my existence until I stood in front of them for a while. (I checked out after my husband paid for our meal. The guy I stood in front of while waiting to pay, counted cash didn’t make eye contact. Finally another female cashier asked me to step over to her register. Both of the cashiers seemed to be in la-la land. It was awkward made me feel uncomfortable.
