"The food is delicious and all organic, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the vibe is so full of life and community. The Garage is a dearly beloved local spot, and for good reasons. The cafe is really a bustling centre-point of the Cowichan community, and there is always something new to try, always an interesting conversation to be had in the beautiful new seating area at the back of the restaurant. The Garage is reminiscent of European-style indoor markets, with a bookstore, art gallery and salon space sharing the building. "This restaurant is hidden in the ramada inn on the transcanada highway. the service was excellent and portions great. there were gluten-free options, and the kid's meal chicken tenders was super-generous. we all enjoyed our meal here. wait-staff we patient with the fact that we wanted a leisurely meal and stayed longer than we might have. the potato skins appetizer was actually enough for a whole meal for me."
