"If you are looking for a good carne asada fries place, this is IT! We used to go to Alberto's for their super fries but as of late, they have been disappointing (fries are dry and burnt, and meat is too salty). After finding this gem, we choose Jilbertos over other local taco shops. However, we recently ordered multiple carne asada fries and all the fries in each order were super hard, burnt and dry which is the reason we stopped going to Alberto's in the first place. I think what makes Jilbertos stand out from other places is their freshly made food. If they continue to provide that, I believe they will continue to have returning customers."

"Early this afternoon, my brother and I went to Felix. We ordered two sampler platters. One platter had a double portion of catfish niggets (barely any nuggets super small), brisket, baby back ribs, fried okra, braised cabbage, yams, and collard greens. Normally, we have cornbread muffins; however, there were no muffins. We got butter but no muffins. What sense does that make? The second sampler had tri tip, pulled chicken, baby back ribs, and catfish nuggets (4 very very small peices of catfish. Like 1 peice was but up into 4 small peices), yams, mac n cheese, hoppin john, and baked beans. We also got a slice of pecan and sweet potatoe pie f0r dessert. We got butter, but no muffins. We also had to ask for our drinks which were 2 Shirley Temples. Normally, the food is excellent; however, today the food wasnt no where near worth the $100 including the nice tip left we spent. We are going to pass on returning and take the drive to the San Marcos or Oceanside locations. The food at both locations are consistently excellent! The meals come with decent proportions always has cornbread muffins on our to go orders. I know times are tight, but come on man. How do you serve bbq with just butter, hold the cornbread muffins. Highly faithful, and extremely disappointed customer."

"My party of 4 had carne asada tacos, tacos de buche, carnitas tacos and chicken enchiladas...all were delicious and the salsa and chips was sooo good. The chocolate cake, carrot cake and pistachio cake were absolutely yummy. This place does lack in choices of beverages. The outdoor seating is very inviting when the weather is right, it could use a few outdoor heating lamps for the people that choose to dine there, there is NO INDOOR DINING. We chose this place by reviews but weren't aware all there was was outdoor dining, we had to eat fast because it was extremely cold and started sprinkling on us. All in all, we would go again when it's warmer weather."

"Literally my favorite restaurant in all of Lake Elsinore corona etc. I will go out of my way to eat at this restaurant the service is great weather I am dining in or picking up to go. I’ve had so many things on the menu and nothing has ever disappointed in the service is always friendly and fast and everything that I want when I go out to eat."
