This small store has chocolate supplies (chips, bars, powders, moulds) for baking and cooking, and chocolate bars, handmade truffles and chocolate-based candy to eat. They also sell ruby chocolate in bulk (and in candy). The person behind the counter was helpful with suggestions. Truffles start at $2.50 per truffle for 1 but lower to $2 per truffle at 4 or more, which is quite good. You also have gift/box packaging for this. They have classic flavors (brightening different chocolate gooseaches from different chcolate producers or regions) and fun flavors (floral, fruity, Boozy, spicy, nutty). I had 4 of them and liked them all, but have no formal recommendations. I recommend checking them when you are in the mood for chocolate and you are in the area! 5/5 would go back
Nice to visit this place. My favorite chocolate is the S'Mores. Great place to buy my diving chocolate and accessories.
My partner and I have been on a mission in recent months to find our favorite chocolate shop here in Washington, and we have already been to some. Of course the chocolate man is still on top. A walk feels like a warm hug as the aroma of freshly made chocolate envelopes you and you will be visually hit with the whole chocolate your heart desires. It's like going from the cold into a warm cabin, a fireplace goes for you. The lady who runs the store (or at least the one who is always there) is always kind and ready to help if you have any questions. I love it having a showcase for floral/fruity/exotic chocolates, an alcohol-based section and a section for more traditional chocolates with their own little spin. This allows me to explore the store without dillying before the case, for what looks like forever while I try to decide in what mood I am. I enjoy exploring the ad boards as it is always fun to look and buy. If you like to bake, they sell discs (I don't know what you call them) from around the world, and that's not an exaggeration. There are even hot chocolate, hot and ready for you if you ever want something made with real chocolate! There is something about this place that was founded on the heart and smiles people through the warmth of chocolate. All we tried here is delicious, and there is something for everyone.
Local biz selling chocolate candy making tools, ingredients and chocolate confections. Great place to buy chocolate gifts, stocking stuffers and a wide variety of truffles/bonbons. Love their dark chocolate liquor-infused and caramel truffles. Chocolate making classes also offered but currently on-pause due to covid restrictions. If you are looking for Callebaut, Extra Brute and other high quality callets, bars and cocoa powder, this is the store for you. Call ahead to confirm if items looked for are in stock.
Cute shop! You walk in the front door and the smell of chocolate is everywhere. They have every shape of chocolate imaginable. They had Star Wars chocolate chocolate for Easter chocolate in the shape of shoes that even had safari animals. They also offer classes there varying from learning how a temper chocolate to actually making some and bringing it home.
