"Food: 1/5 stars Service: 2/5 stars Ambiance: 3/5 stars Terribly disappointing....I don 't know how else to put it. I travel to Japan often and know authentic Japanese cuisine well, but I 'm also understanding when it comes to Japanese food outside of Japan. However, I was baffled to say the least when my food arrived. My tempura udon came with two little tempura asparagus sticks, a single little shrimp, something else I can 't remember, and a thin slice of squash. The broth tasted like lightly salted water with a hint of miso. I was devastated. The shumai seemed like it was store bought and heated up, same with the garlic squid appetizer, it was doused with some pre-made sauce I 've definitely tasted before. The squid pieces were so small. My husband ordered the same tempura udon but with the soba noodles and he barely touched it. The sushi roll we ordered was thin and was sparsely packed with rice. Safe to say we didn 't enjoy anything we ordered. The service was subpar, our waitress was decent, but she never came by after delivering our food to see if we needed any refills of water. The cashier/front desk lady, I think she was Vietnamese or something, but she was so rude! We were paying our absurd bill of $77.35 with cash, and she just tossed our change on the counter without a word, no thank you or anything. Though the interior was decent, ambiance seemed nice, but it 's definitely not enough to get me to go back. No thanks."

"Bravo! Our first visit and definitely not our last one. We wanted to try another Mexican restaurant for my birthday dinner tonight and thought we would try Authentico. We had made reservations online and when we arrived, sat immediately. The special cocktail I had was perfect! Our meals came out in time, were full of taste y muy autentico! I had the best birthday dinner by far. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and definitely 2 thumbs around. Thank you for a great experience!"
