Their guava cake cups are delicious! I wanted to grab a quick treat with the lady and we stumbled upon this amazing cafe. Their iced coffee and boba are delicious and all the pastries are homemade and look amazing. I highly recommend any aficionado to come check this place out. I'll have to bring my family soon. What Sour Tomato doesn't like about Bobacakes:
The boba itself is very good! Nice sweet and bouncy. The drink itself tastes like water mixed with a bit of taro, not sweet or tasty at all. I also got a strawberry crunch cupcake- it was so bland and extremely dry. There wasn’t a huge selection of desserts when i got there, so not much to chose from. Their area is so pretty and ‘secluded.’ just wish it the food drink was just as good. View all feedback.
I live in the apartment building right across the street and have stopped by Bobacakes a few times now. The women working there are always friendly and helpful in figuring out the best thing to order. The owner is usually on site working on something delicious. Today I had a coconut iced latte with boba and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were great but the highlight was the cookie! The cookie tasted like it was fresh out the oven. It was crispy on the outside but soft and gooey on the inside. There was no lacking of chocolate chips either! I've tried the cupcakes before and they were good but nothing extraordinary so I went with something different this time. (The mini key lime pie is always a good choice though!! My boba coffee today was good and even with the coconut added it wasn't too sweet. I like that you can customize it with different kinds of milk and flavors. The boba pearls weren't my favorite, a little too chewy, but were still worth adding to make the drink unique. This is definitely a hidden gem of Lake Mary. It's right behind the train station and if I didn't live in the building across the street, I might not know it was there. Some of the pastries are priced a bit high. $8 for a 2 key lime pie and a cake cup will set you back $12. Still, you get what you pay for and mostly everything I've had from here has been fantastic and fresh. You can tell the owner takes pride in the food and uses the best ingredients. The prices do keep me from stopping by more frequently but it's a nice treat when I want something nearby and sweet. Plus, it's always good to support local business who are feeling the inflated cost of ingredients even more than we are as consumers. So definitely worth a visit, just be prepared to spend a bit more for a quality treat.

I custom ordered a cake for my daughters 5th birthday… they delivered amazingly! My party guests loved it vanilla and strawberry buttercream! They did a fab job and made some beautiful cookies to go with! Thank you so much!!!

This is the second time I came here and I just am in LOVE with this little cafe. My mom adores the guava macarons and we both agree that they make the best macarons we have ever tasted. The creme brulee we had was DIVINE. The fruit green teas are very delicious as well and refreshing! How attentive the owners are as well is just another great thing about this cafe.
