Casa Tequila Mexican - LAKE PLACID

Casa Tequila is always good. ? Some favorites are their Mexican Pizza, chimichanga, and guacamole! Today we enjoyed National Margarita Day! You can get a 32 ounce draft beer here like Dos Equis or Modelo that you'll want to lift with two hands.

Best place in Lake Placid and HIghlands County for Mexican food. Always super friendly to us. We go once or twice a month. Great people aways happy and great food. Love the fajita burrito and the fajitas. Cerviche is also amazing. Fresh fresh fresh!

I have been wanting to come to casa tequila for almost 2 years now but never had the chance to do so till today. I decided to finally go for the very first time with my sister and our kids and we immediately fell in love. The restaurant itself is really pretty and we enjoyed the location. We went in got sat and immediately got offered our drinks. We started off with a choriquezo that is not on the menu but they were kind to still provide it for us. It came out really hot and it was absolutely delicious we all enjoyed it very much. Chips and salsa were also very tasty. For my meal I ordered the enchiladas Ala crema with chicken absolutely amazing. All of our food came out piping hot. My sister and our children also enjoyed their meal. Service was really great as well, very friendly ladies. We will definitely be coming back again. Only thing wrong is that it felt really hot inside but maybe it's because of the weather outside lol other than that awesome place.

Went here by +600 Google reviews, 4.5/5......., maybe it was better before they moved to the golf course.....?, I have no experience of that time, maybe it was...? Like mentioned in the reviews, there are many Mexican restaurants in Highlands county and this was NOT on top of of the list, nothing we got was more than average, quite bland and not really flavorful, except the Guacamole, which was good but quite small portion. The salsa praised in another review was probably the smallest portion I can remember getting served at any place, any time, and was just watery and hot. (I like flavorful food, but it has to taste something, not just burn) I have been to Mexico +20 times in during business trips and this is far from eating anything local in Mexico. Service by staff was positive, no complaints regarding that. I'm sorry, but the 4,5/5 must be rated by people who never visited Mexico...

There are plenty of Mexican restaurants here in Highlands County, but for me this one is the best. Casa Tequila produces some of the best tasting Mexican dishes I have ever had the pleasure of trying. I always start out with chips and queso, but the highlight of my meal is the ?Super Burrito with Shredded Beef?. 10/10 would highly recommend give Casa Tequila a try!
