I love this Lake House bar. I've been here a few times with my boyfriend, once when he played in the band he used to play in and once for an open mic night on a Monday. I am only giving it 4 stars because from what I can tell they don't serve food only drinks. They do let you bring outside food in, I've bought cookies in and I've seen groups bring in cake and my boyfriend and I bought heroes in from little vincent's.... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Parsnip Lake House:
Don't come for open mic. They'll put you on the back burner. They'll put you on last even if you sign up third because personal preference or they dont know you. I'm entertaining your crowd for free. Have some respect next time. Im young but I have more time spent on that guitar and microphone than any old folk in there. Also drinks were overpriced. View all feedback.
Very simple, relatively small bar. No food, but you can eat outside. Large outdoor deck and beach on Lake Ronkonkoma in summer.
I am sure it is much better in warmer weather, but the staff was very friendly and atmosphere had a great mood
A dive bar with old drunks. The bartender was very vocal and customer oriented. Live music most nights.
