"Don't judge a book by its cover aka looking in the window. This was an exceptional meal with great beer. Michael our waiter was a comedic genius and gave us the ultimate experience that was always highly informative and entertaining. We would go back for the fantastic food and the honor to be served by Michael. Thanks so much for the amazing time, it's seriously worth putting up with bad table and chairs."

"This place is charming, as well as the food. Came here for dinner and ordered the Outlaw, which is a pork sausage served in a hotdog-style bun, and also ordered the popcorn chicken and a large flat white. I felt the combination of the sauces for the hotdog bun could have been better, but the popcorn chicken was really good. I'll definitely be back to try their breakfast menu someday! The guys here are uber friendly too."

"We called in for a dinner break on the way home to Christchurch and to watch a bit of the cricket. However, there was an exciting final game of ice hockey on the screens but the barman was happy to change to the cricket when that finished. Drinks were promptly served and, despite a large group ordering in front of us, our meals came out quickly too. They were worth the wait. The barstaff were cheerful and helpful. The view over Lake Tekapo is just beauty."
