"Don't judge a book by its cover aka looking in the window. This was an exceptional meal with great beer. Michael our waiter was a comedic genius and gave us the ultimate experience that was always highly informative and entertaining. We would go back for the fantastic food and the honor to be served by Michael. Thanks so much for the amazing time, it's seriously worth putting up with bad table and chairs."

"We called in for a dinner break on the way home to Christchurch and to watch a bit of the cricket. However, there was an exciting final game of ice hockey on the screens but the barman was happy to change to the cricket when that finished. Drinks were promptly served and, despite a large group ordering in front of us, our meals came out quickly too. They were worth the wait. The barstaff were cheerful and helpful. The view over Lake Tekapo is just beauty."

"I came here in 2019 and loved it but forgot to post a review. I came back again in 2023 the service, the food and the coffee is still the best. Fabulous place in Tekapo. It has the best Japanese service and quality!"
