Rufus Ribs - Lake Wales

The Smoky flavor of his ribs are addicting! Unlike many rib joints, the sides here are equally amazing mac and cheese, baked beans and especially the collard greens!!

Delicious- Very delicious. Everything was prepared to perfection. We usually visit Lake Wales twice per year, always wants to try Rufus. Finally today we did it! The ribs were delicious, the greens and THAT POTATO SALAD!!! Amen! Cornbread was to died for. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! We even got extra BBQ Sauce on the side! RUFUS IS THE PLACE TO GO IN LAKE WALES. Love it! Thank youWe are going back next week!

Smelled the pit from the road and decided to check it out. Ordered the Dinner plate, Mac and Cheese, Potatoe Salad, Pulled Pork and Cornbread. The two sides were very tasty. The pulled pork I have mixed feelings, it had a nice taste bit seem it was just pork cooked in an oven. Didnt have that BBQ taste to it, the smokedness of it. It was a bit of a let down due to pulling over was for that smell. I will be going back to try something that comes staright from the pit to see if the smell matches the taste.

Absolutely amazing. Every weekend the fire is going the meat is cooked fresh on the grill. Generous servings great food at a good price.

The ribs were a bit dry and they were very flavorless. The barbecue sauce was no help at all. I had mac and cheese and baked beans as a side...it was not bad..the best thing on my plate. And then boom..I found a hair in my damn food. I feel so absolutely disgusted. Never again.
