"My family and I had an awesome experience out on the patio with our three dogs. The staff were even nice enough to serve our dogs some bacon while we waited for our food. Super friendly staff and great quality food at a reasonable price point."

"The food was wonderful. We had the delicious pear salad and the ginger and carrot soup - mmm so good, and then we decided on the trout and the lamb - again heavenly, and finished up with the limoncello sorbet and the chocolate cake. Very good with calm and relaxed service.I didn't give this bistro 5 stars because the only let down - albeit a very small one - was that the tables are very close together and we were party to the four ladies' conversation on the next table. However, we will definitely be back soon and will let our friends know about our great little find."

"Took a road trip to Lakefield and stopped at this lovely little cafe for lunch. Had the club sandwich with salad and it was so tasty and delicious! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Really glad we chose this place and would highly recommend!"

"A new pizza place close to the locks. You can eat in or take out. If you eat in they still give you the pizza in boxes but do provide plates and cutlery. You could eat inside or outside. The crust had cornmeal on it and was the best part of the pizza (for me). The salads were freshly made and delicious. The restaurant and washrooms were new clean and well maintained. The only thing missing was a beer as they are not licensed. But we had one when we got back to the boat. Would definitely recommend."

"It has been a long time since I had fish and chips. orders of Captain’s special with haddock. Lots of fries, a few onion rings, shrimp, and scallops. Fries weren’t great. Shrimp tasted the best, they were huge. I couldn’t finish the meal so...took some home. We ate on the patio, and really enjoyed our food. Nice music and service was good too. Really glad we chose this restaurant and would definitely recommend it for the seafood. Would like to come back and just have the shrimp."

"Dropped by on a Saturday afternoon for a drink and a snack.We seated ourselves at a wonderful outdoor patio overlooking the lake. Table was quickly wiped and our server showed up promptly.Drinks ordered and served promptly.Chose some finger foods to share and they came quickly and were all very good. I recommend the Market Basket of Onion Petals and Chipotle Dip! LOTS OF FOOD!We were very impressed at the overall experience and will be back next time we pass by!"

"The service was great, both on the phone when I called plus at pickup. They are very fast and the food was very tasty ! We had a chicken ceasar wrap one evening and the souvlaki dinners a couple evenings after with the same top quality food."
