I've been coming here for a few years now, I adore the pastry counter and the kindness of their team. Everything tastes so wonderful, and they really do put in a lot of care for the experience of coming to Cafe Zuppina. Their Instagram has all their pretty creations and tells me when I absolutely must stop. I will always recommend the pistachio pastry, I forget what they're actually called but it's heavenly. What Anthony doesn't like about Cafe Zuppina:
This was a favorite spot at the old location. The food still tastes amazing! But sadly it is now way overpriced for tiny portion sizes. We spent $120 on lunch for 2 adults and 1 child just to feel full (not stuffed). They also no longer have the market or wide selection of delicious pastries. Love the food but so disappointed in how crazy expensive it has gotten. View all feedback.
Found this great place for lunch while in Lakeland. Great food, friendly efficient staff and great desserts. I would definitely return if in Lakeland again.
Delicious food. Fresh and yummy. Service was good too. The brisket platter amazing! The lavender lemon slushee wonderful ?
Everything I've heard about this place over the last few years of my living in Lakeland, is true. The veggie Wellington, which isn't something I would normally order, was absolutely amazing. Grape leaves, awesome. Coffee, awesome. Desserts, awesome. People, awesome. My wife has allergies and since they carry vegan options she can enjoy dinner and dessert as well. I'm excited to add this to my regular list or restaurants to support!
We went for dinner. This is a very clean and nice restaurant. The prices are a bit off the charts for what you get in my opinion. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Food is served in plastic takeout containers with plastic utensils. Not exactly the type of service you expect when dinner entrees cost $26 and up. You can get lunch items for dinner, but they tack on an extra $2.50. We had the gyro plate, which, at $19, was okay, not great. It would have been better at $10. They had Turkish ice cream which you could get dipped in fudge and topped with crushed pistachios. This concoction would cost you $7—and the portion wasn’t huge—a small scoop of ice cream on a cake cone. I wouldn’t—couldn’t afford to—go back.
Had Chicken Wellington for lunch today. Cafe is super clean and lovely. The food was absolutely amazing! 5 stars for this little cafe. I can’t wait to go back and try more!
