It’s been around at least twenty years and proved a great solution to a search for a Saturday lunch in Clapham High Street at rather short notice. Instead of the customary pizzas we chose on a hot summer’s afternoon courgette fritters and burrata with tomatoes followed by a beetroot smoked aubergine and goat’s cheese salad and an indulgent seafood risotto. What Linnea Martell doesn't like about Echo:
This was my first visit here, the menu looked good. However I had the worst carbonara I 've ever had. I was told it was creamy, but it wasn 't. The sauce was clumped up. The dish was flavorless. I mentioned it to the server and she said to try another pasta next time. Otherwise the food was hot, the restaurant was clean, and service was fine. Will not be returning. View all feedback.
