"I had a remarkable meal at this lovely restaurant located within the Six Senses Douro Valley Resort! From the moment I set foot on the premises, I was greeted warmly and treated very kindly! The decor and ambiance is both modern and traditional in keeping in accordance with the surrounding river valley. It feels very endemic to the area. Everything from the bread to the dessert are painstakingly prepared and it shows in the presentation and delectable flavor. I absolutely loved the traditional Portuguese Cozido, which is totally shareable, as well as the tender roasted lamb dish. The beet mousse dessert was also well worth indulging in. I’d like to note that all servers were beyond professional and amicable. I commend all of them for that. For being the best resort in Europe, they make you feel at ease I had a remarkable meal at this lovely restaurant located within the Six Senses Douro Valley Resort! This restaurant is truly an obligatory stop while on your exploration of the Douro Valley. I’d love to return!"

"Comfort food, homemade and of great quality and flavor. Numerous delicacies typical of the region, served with excellent muscatel. The main meal was generously served. It was all super yummy. Mr Pedro is friendly and made the experience even more pleasant. We will be back! I recommend the garlic and chicken balls, as well as the beans and typical sausages as a starter. The ribs with potatoes in the oven were divine."
