"Recommended to us by the owner of the apartment we stayed in. Meat dishes beautifully cooked over a wood-burning grill. Delicious. Children insisted that we go back for a second visit before the end of our stay in the town. Times might seem a little unusual to British visitors. Don't start serving evening meal until about 8 o'clock, but that's just how the locals do things, with a mid-day siesta and a late finish to the working day. In the summer the seating is all outside on the street. Don't think I would want to be inside with the open fire in that heat!"

"We had avoided this restaurant for several years before discovering it had new owners. A very friendly greeting by a smartly dressed waitress. The menu was quite large and varied. We chose a truffled Gaspacho with anchovies and a slow baked duck egg with foie gras and once again truffle shavings. Both dishes were excellent both in appearance but taste equally. The main courses, slow cooked rack of lamb was superb, tasty and succulent. My red tuna was beautifully cooked but I found the red fruit sauce and garnish overpowering and not to my taste. All in all superb. We will come again."
