Update - sadly on returning, I find the cocktails to be quite poor and the atmosphere (and aroma) of the bar to be somewhat stale.

Agréablement surprise, plats excellents simples mais très bien exécutés avec un accueil chaleureux en prime. A refaire très vite.

Cuisine familiale, sans prétention mais fraiche et de bonne qualitéLes "planches" sont (trop) copieuses.Les plats sont souvent redondantsAccueil très convivial...

"We were a little apprehensive as we do not speak French but wanted a proper french evening meal. We did not need to worry as we were put at ease, as soon as we arrived, by our host for the evening. We took a stab at ordering, the menu obviously in french. What we had was delicious, two courses for €26. The appetiser and free after dinner shot were nice extra touches. Thank you"
