"Honestly cannot rate this place highly enough! I have eaten here on numerous occasions and I have never had a meal here that has been anything but fantastic. The waiting staff are friendly and they know what they're doing. The portions are large, filling and...utterly delicious. A lot of love and care clearly goes into the dishes at this establishment. I travel a fair few miles to eat here because, in my opinion, the food really is the best for miles around! Thank you to all of your team for yet another spectacular meal "

"My friend and I went yesterday (27/09/23) for lunch. We 've not been there for a while. Nice atmosphere, cozy, super clean and beautifully decorated. We both chose the fish pie which was delicious, as was the accompanying watercress, pickled red onion and pea side salad. Rounded off with a lovely dessert and a cappuccino coffee, which was one of the best I 've had dining out in a while. It turned out to be a lovely, unrushed meal, enabling us to catch up without worrying we were taking up the table for too long. I would imagine though the evening and weekend trade would be very busy, which might put the pressure on diners. The staff were courteous and efficient. The only issue and in no way should this be taken as a complaint firstly the way the menu is priced is 'interesting ' and, secondly, a service charge is automatically added to your bill. Paying by card I didn 't notice this. I found out as I attempted to hand over a gratuity as I hadn 't noticed this info on the card reader. The young gentleman and I chuckled over this as what I wanted to hand over, was greater than the applied service charge. We will visit again. It was also nice to discover our trip there bore no resemblance to those negative experience reviews I 'd read before visiting."
