What User likes about The George:
this is a great pub not her super market, but great staff so friendly, can not welcome enough for them children and friendly pets. eating is also great, not a huge menu, but enough. what I like most is that it is all fresh and not a microwave. rehearsal more of a local but excellent all round good decoration as well. Went for a mid week meal. Had a couple of drinks, reasonably priced good service. Checked the menu specials board, went on to order food but told, ‘Sorry I don’t think we’re serving tonight...we don’t serve when it’s quiet’ Ended up at Torrisholme Fisheries. Much better option. View all feedback.
