"Easy walk across the road from the caravan park a very busy little place on a saturday morning but can understand why as the food is beautiful for a very reasonable cost. a bit of a wait for our food but was worth the wait.... Staff friendly and clean and tidy cafe with great food highly recommend"

"We arrived at lunch on a Tuesday in early June. The place was deserted (just like the rest of WA with just one couple sitting outside. We were warmly greeted and had a lovely chat with the lady serving. After ordering we sat outside...and enjoyed the beautiful views and surrounding. Sadly the food didn’t quite match the service or setting. Our beef burger and chicken burger arrived very quickly which always concerns me. Some of the salad with the chicken burger was tired and past it. Never a good sign and doesn’t inspire confidence not sure why chefs allow meals to go out with salad that is obviously not looking good. The onion rings were huge but very greasy. Chips were good. To be fair, both burgers were pretty good and sizeable, though nothing special. We were told that the place had been exceptionally busy as it had been a long weekend. My partner commented that “perhaps we’ve just had the leftovers”. All in all, a bit of a shame. Perhaps we were just unlucky as other reviews are mostly positive. Give it a try and make your own mind up."

"I occasionally call in after being at an evening meeting in Lancelin just for their excellent fish and chips. It is a what my friend calls a typical roadhouse cafe great staff, fresh food and great value. Of course they offer other hot foods...as well but judging by the constant stream of people coming and going the majority are there for the fish and chips . A busy, friendly place where there are some stools tucked right down at the back if you want to eat before a long drive back to Perth."

"After a long day of work with little food i was in need of nurishment. Staying at The Lancelin Beach Hotel it was certain from the start i would have dinner at Dunes Restaurant. I navigated to the bar where i ordered a apple cider while i deconstructed the menu. It was a hard decision to make because the hunger answered 'everything!'... i made my final decision on the barramundi.With a few tables already seated and ordered my dinner came within 10 minutes of ordering.It was pleasantly presented. I would usually take a photo but i was too hungry.The barramundi was cooked perfectly!, i find fish is often underestimated and either not cooked enough or over cooked.Tge sweet potato shavings was a pleasant suprise. I love my sweet potato and you see it on menus alot these days, but not many places know what to do with it.The medely of pine nuts and vegetables underneath was devine.Very happy and will eat there again tonight."

"Great country club! We went for new year's eve..Great band and it was a free event, so it was super busy and the bar staff were under the pump but they were efficient and so friendly. Food delicious...especially the ribs! We'll definitely go again."
