Man, I so wanted this place to be great, but it wasn't....visited this food truck about a week ago...My wife ordered two beef empanadas, and I got the Jibarito steak sandwich. Where do I begin, spent about 40.00! The beef empanadas had no flavor whatsoever, the beef was very bland, not even a hint of salt. The jibarito steak sandwich was flavorless as well. This is my 2nd time coming here… the first time I loved it the second I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it As a native Puerto Rican it is hard to find TRUE authentic boricua dishes. The owners are truly hardworking and dedicated people, great atmosphere, amazing staff, and DELICIOUS food 100/10 recommend ??

I lived in PR for 8 years. This humble food truck is the closest to Piñones you will find in this area. I like the mofongo con carne frita (fried pork chunks . The wife loves their churrasco. We tried the flan you MUST get it for dessert delicioso! The owners are very sweet and friendly people as well. One of our favorite go to spots. (Their sandwiches are awesome as well!
I guess a while back a fellow Geeksquad employee gave it 1 star. The owner told me the story lol. Well I can say that he was wrong. Had a Jibarito and it was pretty good. Also had a alcapurria and honestly, it needs a little more flavor. I will be back to try more. Hope you don't hate GS
The food is DELICIOUSLY EXCELLENT !! The service is very professional and their willingness to expedite your order is commendable. Great outdoor area for enjoying an afternoon or evening savoring your favorite dish. BIG SHOUT OUT to DOUBLE GUSTAZO for a job WELL DONE !!
