"We stopped on a whim after catching a glimpse as we drove by on a scenic,back road route to Burg Eltz, and had a delightfully tasty light lunch in an absolutely magical setting. The creativity of the converted stone barn and courtyard was surprising and charming and the meal thoroughly enjoyable. Staff were perfect, all the guests were having a great time; we loved every minute of it. We had such a great time that at one point one of us quipped, What castle? as though all thought of our destination was erased by the pleasure of the moment. Go and enjoy!"
