"A group of 10 of us pre-booked for lunch on Sunday and chose to sit in the dining room. However on arrival it was decided that the deck would be much nicer for our large group and it was no trouble for staff to move us out there. The beers, wines and soft drinks were lovely and cold...just right for a warm summer day. At 12 o'clock the pub had only been open for a couple of hours but the place was spotless.The toilets and the general cleanliness was very noticeable.We each ordered our own meals and even though there was another large table and many other diners our food all arrived at the same time. We ordered a range including toasted sandwiches, burgers and the delightful Fisherman's Plate. My wife and I shared the Fisherman's Plate and still had a lot left when we were finished eating. The table server, Bianca I think, said she would pack the extra into a take away container for us to take home.Wonderful service, great staff and fine food made for a lovely relaxed lunch. "Pulled in to this place for a break and snack. Liked the atmosphere, the music and the view which reminded us of our native country Wales. Only had an hamburger which was delicious. Thanks guys for a pleasant hour."
