"We stayed with 4 people in the Yellow House, which is beautifully located in the old town of Eltville. The house is an old building from the 17th century. Century, beautifully renovated and offers a nice backdrop. Largest trump is surely the covered terrace overlooking the vineyards on the Rhine. Here you can also sit comfortably outside if the weather doesn't play like that. The wine is good (recommendation: the semi-dry Riesling selection Yellow house but this is also expected in the Rheingau. The food (rieslingsüppchen, grillsteak or pigs Lende and salmon were qualitatively absolutely fine, but without special subtleties in performance and taste. The price performance ratio is fine, but I would like to consider the food as an average. It was annoying, however, that in the late afternoon we had reserved the table for the evening, so to speak, under the butt. On our question whether we will be thrown out, the service explained that would be so .I don't just think to ask if you still stay or if the table is available from the time in question, would surely be more friendly in the classical sense. Conclusion: A nice location to sit outside with beautiful views and one or more glasses of wine. In order to eat, we would no longer visit the Yellow House."

"Great ambience. The food was very tasty and the service is looking for its like so could be the headline. The food is made from fresh ingredients, which you also taste and the spaghetti Carbonara were even prepared live in front of our eyes. Every single step has been explained, which was very interesting and impressive. The service, what should I say......all waiters were on zack, have water and possibly wine gifted and expresses friendly but never intrusive. Rarely experienced such an excellent service. When the side table came to a complaint, one has reacted confidently, offered to re-establish the food, accepted the criticism and both guests have received a wine to the house. Maybe it should always be that, but reality often looks different, so definitely a reason to mention. We are very happy to come back, look forward to it today and say thank you again for a nice evening."
