"Friendly staff, great pizza. A simple menu but all the better for that. The pear and blue cheese pizza is a must try, and is even better if you add walnuts. What an excellent find in Appledore. "We visited for Sunday midday and, wow! what a meal, it was an absolute firm of 3 curses. the atmosphere is fantastic, the personal is really friendly and hospitable. the pub has a great feeling, very spacious. my only tip would be to be hungry. you need the room!"

"What a boon to our village is the Black River Inn. Chef Pallatt is a magician with food and Gill Pallatt is the perfect host and manages her restaurant, bar and team with flair, style and a smile.
