Really tasty but either in the middle of a rebranding or shutting down. Shame either way. Cute little byob with delicious food. Portions are generous and very flavorable. View all feedback.
What Sarah JH doesn't like about Asahi:
I had the chef's special sushi (attached photo), and I must say, it did not meet the expected quality or taste for its $49 price tag. Furthermore, the appetizers were overly fishy, making them difficult to consume. I can only hope that they utilize fresher fish in their dishes. While the atmosphere was pleasant, I won't be giving this place another try. View all feedback.
I would highly recommend the ginger and scallion yakisoba noodles- delicious!!
Just ate here for the first time and I have never had this experience before. The owner was bringing out the food and interacting with customers. The food was all fresh and delicious. I truly felt like I was in her home and she cooked a meal just for me. You could feel the love she puts into her food. Our server was so sweet and friendly. So glad we tried this spot out. Can’t wait to come back!
I love this place. The only disappointment to me is that you can only get poke bowls for lunch (not dinner). But those bowls, the sushi, dumplings, tempura, tofu teriyaki dinner....all fantastic! Sometimes we do takeout and sometimes we dine in....either way is nice, and they have never gotten anything wrong about an order.
This place is a hidden gem. The food has been amazing every single time I’ve been and everything tastes so fresh. Lunch specials are awesome and they have the cheapest poke bowl around! Sometimes service can be slower if you’re sitting in, but the staff is great and the food worth the wait.
My waiter Camren was amazing and the food was delicious! ???
