"We were in Laon from July 9 through the 15th. We tried several small restaurants before seeing some of my American friends on the terrace. Surprisingly, they had bourbon for him the whole night and the same the next night also. We shared a bottle...of champagne between four of us as the two others a number of years older could not drink. The appetisers were awesome and the same for the main courses. As I am multilingual living in the bilingual province in Canada, I did many of the translations. The service was very good . The manager and a waitress took care of us very well."
