La cittadina di Laon é molto particolare. Ha il centro storico su una collina e la parte nuova ai suoi piedi. Il centro storico é decadente, ma proprio per questo ha un fascino particolare. Ci ho vissuto diversi mesi ed ero sempre stupido da questa bellezza nella rovina. What Benjamin Guerin doesn't like about LAON:
there isn't much to do in Laon- a few bars, couple of discos.... if you are looking to stop here for a visit, i would go straight up to the cathedral, walk to the church on the other side of the plateau, and then down by the war memorial near the poma. there are some good restaurants up by the cathedral, and the view from the plateau is great, but i wouldn't spend so much time here. if you speak english and need help...
