"My veggie meal was the best in 20 years at least", so saith my wife. It was a delicious risotto thing, which I tried, and yes, I agreed. My meat main was fab (braised pork cheek). Staff were speedy and attentive.We were sitting outside in august, it was a perfect temperature and no biting beasties.I would book if you visit in tge summer. We went on a saturday and couldnt get in. We were tgere for a week and ate twice.FAB.

"Went first night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The young male server was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed it so much that we went back again. This time we had the female server. Firstly, she wasn't an attentive server. Worse, at the end of the meal, when I pointed out the raw chicken left on my plate, I received no apology for it. When we asked for the bill, she threw it on our table as she walked past. We also witnessed a bizarre situation when the chef left the kitchen and started yelling at one of the customers about an error with the order. She apologised for the error but not in a dignified manner. The restaurant went quiet and the man never raised his voice back. It is a place we wish we had visited once for the good experience rather than the disappointment of the second visit."
