"Nice taco place pretty much in the center of Santa Elena, good ambience playing nice music. Food was good with fresh ingredients. Portion size is just good and to my amazement finally a place that doesn't use too much salt. The wait was a bit longer than usual for tacos but fine. Service was friendly."

"We had such a nice evening and evening! There was live music and the food came really fast! Our host Juan was amazing as it is suspected. The service was very good, I work in a restaurant as a manager, and that was just the way it should be, thanks for the beautiful evening!"

"I went there with my BF for a light lunch, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food in an unlikely environment. I had the black bean soup, which is served with 2 eggs. Surprisingly there are no actual black beans in this dish, they are puréed. But it is literally the best I’ve ever had. Completely homemade with chopped red bell pepper, onions and celery. I didn’t want the rice so they subbed fries for me, no problem. My BF had the casero. It looked beautiful and the grilled onions were perfect. Only that he ordered the steak and actually received a pork chop. Oh and the awrvice is attentive, English speaking and prompt. We will return if we have time this week."

"Authentic restaurant with traditional Costa Rican dishes. Plates were full of beans, rice, salad, zucchinis, meat, a Plantain banana. It's very good for the price. It was one of the few places where we had a hard time to finish our meal for such a reasonable price!"

"Had the best fish dish here after months from Soda-Hopping! Delicious Cassava chips, crispy patacons and fresh salad. Fresh fish fillet from sea and sea in special bowl with the best white sauce incl. Shrimp and laughter! Amazing acidic smoothie, perfect in the season without added sugar on request! Many fresh products directly from Hosts Farm including Yucca, Plantains, Avocado, Soursop and more! definitely recommend going, also for the hosts generous and entertaining presentation "
