Not sure why we don't have more Rubio's in Vegas, but the one on Sahara in top notch all around. Love my chicken nachos, no beans, extra chicken....and the picante salsa is delicious. View all feedback.
What Joshua Walls doesn't like about Rubio's Coastal Grill:
This place has good when I take it out. I sat for dinner tonight and the restaurant is disgusting. Food on the windows and sills. Food all over the buffet for sauces.... I took the rest of my of food my plate and made it to go. I lost my appetite thinking what could be happing in the kitchen if the front where people eat is so terrible!!!!!!! I WONT EAT HERE EVER AGIAN!!!! FIRE THE MANAGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! View all feedback.
Like most fast food places, Rubio 's does not hit the mark on value.I haven 't been there in forever but used to love their fish tacos and shrimp burrito. I got the shrimp burrito to be nostalgic. My friend treated me and between his combo and my burrito it was just over $30 for lunch...that 's crazy. After some time my burrito was brought out to me and although tasty was lacking in shrimp. It was mainly rice and beans. I swore I only got 5 or 6 small shrimps in whole thing. When you look at places like 'the taco stand ' where I get a fresh ingredients shrimp and steak burrito that is both bigger and cheaper, there is no way I would return to Rubio 's.I 'm sure some of you don 't share the same sentiment about price and value, I get it. So if we ignore price and value it was still mediocre food.
First time ever eating here. Ordered cilantro lime quinoa bowl with extra chicken, extra lettuce, and extra avocado. Plus, I got some chips. What I actually received was 2 cups of quinoa/rice, no black beans, a 1/4 cup of chicken, a 1/2 cup of lettuce, 1/3 cup grilled veggies, and about an 1/8th of a small avocado. I can not believe they had the nerve to upcharge me for the extra chicken, avocado, and lettuce. The chips were chewy, not crispy. I ended up giving my meal away. Heading to El Pollo Loco now instead.I won't eat here again, nor will I recommend it to others.
I haven't had Rubio's since I moved to Vegas right before the shutdown. The fish tacos were just like I remembered. Deliciousness!! They had a good variety of salsa to accommodate all levels of heat tolerance. Go on Taco Tuesday and get their original fish tacos or classic chicken tacos for just $2.25 each. (Classic steak tacos are just $2.50).
So so the best Rubio's I've eaten in was Del Mar Ca,just outside of LA Jolla CA, always busy. The one on Sahara and Ft.Apache is not that great as many times that I've eaten there so times tacos are OK other times not worth the the price the other day I had the trio why can't they shred the lettuce no they just cut it in pieces not good Rubio'S
I had the shrimp taco trio. Each taco was so delicious and completely different from the next. I would love to eat at this place every single day.
