Lovely pub set in a small moorland village, definitely should be on your visit list! A very well organized restaurant that can get very busy, so it's essential you book. Sunday lunch was very good! Wonderful atmosphere and there are rooms available if you'd like to stay over! To top it off there's an excellent circular walk across the fields to Hutton le Hole and it's chocolate shop! Bliss. After having a wonderful lunch the week before we decided to return for Sunday lunch.However unfortunately we did not have the same experience.The service was poor leaving us for several minutes with no cutlery and food going cold,having to distract staff to order a drink,no roast potatoes left so we given a small bowl of mashed potatoes but had to wait again,we probably won't be racing back for Sunday roast sadly.
