As we had just arrived in Launceston and were staying upstairs at the Grand Chancellor we chose Avenue Restaurant as our tired legs had nearly given up. What a great find! let me start by saying I dont like giving bad reviews because I believe people always deserve a second chance but in this case the hotel Grand Chancellor deserves shutting DOWN not just deserving a bad review my self and my wife went to the hotel for Christmas dinner in 2016, we was looking forward to it because of the good reviews it had received on trip advisor but what a let down, we think the food was left overs...
